Why film
You hear the vows again. You see your dad's face the moment he saw you. You catch the ten seconds you missed because you were busy being in them.
A photo gives you the frame on the wall. A film gives you the sound of the room, the shake in a voice, the way your grandmother laughed at the speech.
Couples who skip the film rarely miss the money. They miss having something to play.
The films
Whole films with the sound from the day, playing right on this page. Pick a couple below and press play.

Where
Travel inside 50 km of Melbourne costs you nothing. Past that I quote it up front, so you see the number before you decide. Deepal and Samuel's film above is one of the Sydney ones.
How it works
01Tell me the date, the venue, and the part you are worried about. If I am free, you will know straight away.
02No posing, no takes again, no lights in your face. Most couples forget I am there by the second hour, which is the whole point.
03Four to six weeks later it arrives in your inbox. Then you watch it. Then you watch it again with your parents.
Collections
Every collection includes the full edit, the real sound from your day remixed with music, and your film delivered in four to six weeks. Travel within 50 km of Melbourne is included.

Multi day
Priced per weddingCultural and multi day weddings
Every wedding is different, so the last two are quoted once I know your day. Tell me the date and I will send a real number, not a range.
Try it
Press and hold. The day runs backward. Let go and it plays forward again. Nothing else you keep from the wedding can do that.

Who
I film weddings out of Melbourne and I go wherever the day is: Victoria mostly, and Sydney, Brisbane and Perth when couples ask me to.
I work quietly. I would rather catch the real thing than set it up, so I stay at the edge of the room and let the day be the day. The moments people cry at later are almost never the ones anybody planned.
Every frame on this website is my own work, from real weddings, for real couples.
Questions
They do different jobs. Photos give you the frame on the wall. A film gives you the sound of the vows, the speech that went off script, and the way people moved. Ask anyone who booked only photos what they would add if they could do it again.
Almost every couple says this to me first. Then they forget I am there. I do not pose you, I do not ask for anything twice, and I do not put a light in your face. I film what actually happens, which is why it looks like you.
Four to six weeks. That is quicker than most, and it is a promise rather than a hope. You will know the date it is coming.
Yes. Travel inside 50 km of Melbourne costs you nothing. Past that, anywhere in Victoria or interstate, I quote the travel up front so the number is in front of you before you decide anything.
From $1,750 for six hours, covering the ceremony and the reception. Longer days and multi day celebrations are quoted per wedding once I know your date and venue.
Yes, and I love them. Mehndi, sangeet, ceremony, reception, all of it. All three films on this page came from days like that, so you can see exactly how I handle a celebration with more than one part to it.
Last thing
Tell me when and where. If I am free, you will hear back within a day.
